MAYBE NEEDS A TUNE UPMAYBE NEEDS A TUNE UP:
Hal hates waiting so when he had to wait for an event that he had been invited to, to get started he looked for something to do. He saw an old car in the back of the lot and decided to try and find a way to photograph it. It wasn't easy as a nearby dog figured he didn't belong there. But after convincing the dog that it would be OK and then moving a bunch of steel fence posts he was able to open the back door just enough to get in and get the shot.

NEED A NEW ONE
This shot came about as part of a specific assignment to have a photograph that reflected decay. The inside of this old truck looked perfect for showing the effects of time and "decay". And one of the items on the cab floor only further made the point.

SMILE
This old truck was found on a back pasture of a well know ranch. The main house had been used in a Hollywood production, but no one featured the outback. The wife of the owner told us that, "yep every truck he has had is out there". But this one didn't seem to mind it retirement in the bull pasture. It still seemed to have a smile on its front.

SUNSET LIMO
Like Smile this old truck was a decoration on the back pasture of this well known ranch. Another of the owners trucks in retirement. It was a little tricky to photograph as it was in the pasture with the rodeo bulls. You had to keep one eye on the bulls to be sure they were more interested in the grass than the photographer. Advice from the rancher was, "keep an eye on them and be sure you don't look them in the eye." Rodger that.
